March 2010 Jerry Brown opened the meeting by reading a card from the Hinely
family. “You know, what you did was really special. So I want to thank you all
for being as considerate and caring as you’ve been. It’s not every day I come across people
who are so thoughtful, so giving, so willing to jump in and make a difference. But you did.
And I’m really glad. I’m so grateful to you all – You truly make the world a more
beautiful place to be. Everyone has been so good to us. Just wanted to say Thank
You! Your support has kept me going. Our Deepest Love, the Hinely Family.” Please remember the Kenny Brinson and Steve Hinley.

January 2009 Meeting Minutes Jerry Brown called the meeting to order and Tim Johnson opened
with a word of prayer. Since this was the first meeting since
our November club meeting, Curtis Gay gave an update on the Toy Run that was held in November. There were
over 65 toys donated and $1,070 was raised via door prize ticket sales, 50/25/25 ticket sales and donation in lieu of toy
registrations. In December, instead of a monthly meeting,
members met for dinner at Bevricks Char House Griller and wound out the evening at Guido Gardens. It was
a cold night, but the turn out was excellent. Members
discussed conducting a pet food drive for the Humane Society. I (Cindy Durden) will contact the Humane
Society for current needs and update members at the February meeting. Motion was made to move the meeting time to 7:15 each month. Motion was passed. To assist with medical bills and other needs, members are encouraged to donate to A.J. Scott
and his family. You may do so at Statesboro Yamaha. The date for our annual poker run has been set. The date is June 13th.
